Dorney Park’s highly anticipated fall festivities make their return this September. The Great Pumpkin Fest begins on Saturday, September 15th and runs on Saturdays and Sundays through October 28th, 2018. Halloween Haunt opens Friday, September 21st, and runs on Friday and Saturday nights through October 27th, plus a bonus night on Sunday, October 7th.
Dorney Park highlights one new attraction to its Halloween Haunt line-up, two newly refurbished attractions, new show concept, and all of the yester-year favorites. Dorney Park will also introduce its 3rd and final 2018 craft brew, Haunted Hops, especially brewed for Dorney Park by HiJinx Brewery in Allentown, Pa.
Brand-new to the Halloween Haunt Fright Guide is Port of Call, an adults-only attraction for those 21 years of age and older. Ominous tunes of today’s hits will fill the ship with mystery, and drinks will be plentiful – all while high profile Haunt characters mingle amongst those who are brave enough to enter. Though, the question remains – who will walk the plank? Only time will tell.
Newly refurbished this year is the scare zone, Necropolis (previously named Grave Walkers), and Trick or Treat – Lights Out, a flashlight maze. Necropolis is once a spot where peaceful spirits resided, and have been dragged out of their slumber and forced to walk the earth once more. The deceased are searching for the person that woke them, and they are searching for revenge. Darkness has fallen in the house along Cedar Creek, at Trick or Treat – Lights Out. Lore has it the old witch there welcomes children on Halloween in search of regaining her youth – do not trick the witch or you could come away with a treat that you may never forget. Dorney Park will also introduce its new Halloween Haunt show, Overlord’s Resurrection which will take place every Friday and Saturday to kick-off each night of Halloween Haunt. For more information on Halloween Haunt, visit www.dorneypark.com/haunt
